D.I.Y Storage Box

What you need:

Used box (Medium size box)
Scissors
Piece of Cloth
PVA Glue
Brushes
Sewing Pin
Paper Cutter
Needle or Sewing Machine

Procedure:

1. Carefully cut off the lid of the box on all four sides. As a result, we should get a cardboard box.

2.Of the selected fabric prepare handles. To do this, cut out from it strips us the desired length and width.

3. Set box at the middle of a piece of fabric and draw out its perimeter with a pencil. At the bottom of the box spread PVA glue using the brush, glue it to the fabric, turn it over gently and smooth the fabric using your hand.

4. It is time to make the joints of fabric on the edges of the box. To do this, gently turn down the fabric and one layer of glue, which we plan to leave at the bottom.

5. While the glue under the fabric "grasped", we coat the sides and by bending the upper layer as shown in the photo, glue it on top of the lower one.

6. It is time to make the upper hand. To do this cut the fabric with the same length and at the same position of the cut in the box. Insert the handle that you made before, glue the edge of the handle. Note the clearance angles.

7. On the top of the glued edge cover it using the cardboard strips. This is done neatly, slits are on the outer side of the box .

8.to our additional reliability and box ready!

Tahong Buko Delight

                                  Tahong Buko Delight

A recipe made by our group during my elementary years. And won first place in a cooking competition. I don't have the photo of it but it kinda looks like this
but ours has a tomato sauce and a coconut white flesh on top.
I'm gonna share with you guys the recipe.
Hope you like it.

Ingredients:

1 kilo       Mussels
6 pcs.      Garlic cloves
1 pc.        Onion
1/8 cup   Butter softened
3/4 kilo   Tomato Sauce
   pinch     Salt
   pinch     Pepper
                Young green coconut
                Onion Leeks (optional)
                Grated Cheese

Procedures:

1. Wash the mussels. Remove the byssal thread or commonly called "beard". Then boil it in a pot until the shells are open. Set aside.

2. Mince garlic and onion. Then preheat a pan on medium heat, add a small amount of butter until it melts and saute garlic and onions.

3. Once the garlic is tan, add the tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste, and frequently stir it until it boils.

4. While waiting for the tomato sauce to boil, scrape the fresh coconut flesh from the shell using a scraper. Don't scrape too deep so you won't get the brown skin of coconut that tastes woody. Put it in a bowl and set aside.

5. Remove the cooked mussels in the pan and pour a small amount of tomato sauce on top and add cheese and coconut flesh then plate. Use the onion leeks to garnish and serve. Enjoy!
